Located within the Ground for Sculpture’s newly designed and spacious Welcome Center, Van Gogh Café has been described as walking into a Van Gogh painting where you will be blown away by its beauty. The café is a reflection of Van Gogh’s “Café Terrace at Night” complete with its bright colored awing shading the terrace and Van Gogh’s Starring Night The project included the renovation of approximately 2,000-square feet of a former warehouse space into a full-service Café. The Cafe features French-inspired street food, patisserie, made-to-order crepes, baguette sandwiches, artisanal cheeses, snacks, coffee bar, craft beer and wine.
The renovation included custom woodwork, millwork, and casework, custom light fixtures including over 550 lineal feet of 15mm cold cathode cove lighting with two colors, plastering, custom made USG Celebration aluminum perforated ceiling panels with Acoustibond backer imprinted with Van Gogh’s “Starry Night” painting, as well as commercial kitchen and food preparation equipment, displays and servery.
